Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn, born on August 19 1965 is an American actress. She also works as a producer and director. Her most famous character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. In her role as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended following the seventh season. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick won an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish.
